There are over 125 species of
palm trees in the world, coconut palm trees grow to 100 feet tall
and up to 24" in diameter. The coconut palm tree only produce fruit
for about 75 years, then discarded for rubbish. This is where Frisch
coconut Palm begins its manufacturing process, right from the

Manufacturing Process
Frisch Coconut Palm manufacturing facilities are
located in Indonesia. All of our facilities are equipped with the
most modern and up to date machinery available.

trees, the center is soft and light in color and not used in
manufacturing. The dark

We prefer the coconut palm from Indonesia because of
its beautiful dark rich tropical look, it's considered one of the
premium palms in the world. The fact that the palm trees are such
an abundant resource and we are experiencing dramatic losses to our rain
forests, it only makes sense to us that for every coconut palm floor
that we produce some where down the line we are directly slowing down
the deforestation of our planet, one palm tree at a time.
Frisch Coconut Palm is continuously doing both field
and laboratory research and development to insure that our products stay
ahead of the rest and insure you are valuable customers of a durable
long lasting floor.
Frisch Coconut Palm has just developed a new flooring
product called Beach Palm, it's very unique golden color and almost
cat's eye grain make this flooring product one of our most rewarding to
date.

grade A palm that we use is cut using a special process. Now the
palm wood must be kiln dried, this is probably one of the most critical
times in the manufacturing process because it is here that the palm wood
gains it's stability and enables us to start the laminating process.
Frisch Coconut Palm uses a patent pending cross grain
laminating system, basically this is where the flooring is glues into 3
layers and placed into a 10.000lb. press and left to cure for a
specified time. This gluing technique is one of our most valued
company secrets, all of our glues are formaldehyde free and non-toxic,
keeping our products completely eco friendly.
All of our flooring & molding products are coated using
an Ultra-Violet lighting system, the UV lights literally bakes the
finish onto the Flooring insuring a durable and long lasting product.
